Site specific installation depicting a loose narrative of memories as told through film photos connected together by space and lines.

All photos were taken throughout 2016 and collated in retrospect in 2017.

How can we visualise the way that we remember our years? Our memory isn’t linear but yet somehow it follows its own narrative rhythm based on associations of emotions and fragments. The faint red lines connection photos as if they were glimpse into the moments, rather than a journalistic documentation. The stairwell helps to organise the winding path of memory windows and untangles them from my mind. Right at the base of the stairs, it concludes in a cathartic release of the bad memories and allows for space for them to be reconciled.
