Bathroom Photo Booth is a collection of self-portraits that are all taken and developed in the artist’s own bathroom. The photos act as glimpses into an unstructured and diaristic narrative that contextualises the bathroom as simultaneously a reflective space but also a very vulnerable space. Combe uses this series as a form of mindful healing during times of exacerbated mental illness, whilst also exploring how this shapes a sense of identity.
